Diseases











Diseases:
Intestinal Infections: The intestinal infections are caused by a virus, might be because of bacterias or parasites, these attack the gastrointestinal tract.
Pulmonary Infections: The lungs weaken.
Smallpox The smallpox is caused by two virus: Variola major, Variola Minor.
Tuberculosis: It is an infectious disease caused by mycrobacteria (most of the time is the mycobacterium tuberculosis)

How does the diseases affect the society, economy and politics?

Tuberculosis::

Society: People changed their lives so much because of the disease, having to adapt. 

Economy: As many people were having tuberculosis, they couldn't attend to work, letting the amount of income to the companies fall.

Politics: People demanded the government to find cures, and alternatives. They also wanted help from the government.

Smallpox: 

Society:Smallpox was the reason of death for over 15-30% of the population back then.
Economy: People had to stop going to work, causing the companies to have less income. 
Politics: The politics had to get solutions to help the people affected. There were many victims of the smallpox that needed medical attention.
